  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The classification of this raod is Secondary Road and it is connecting the town of Haima to the Sahama Camp. The road serves the military camp located at about km 25 and it is intended also for use of the PDO heavy vehicles from the oil camps in the area. The road runs through flat desert terrain and consists of a two lane carriageway; it also includes a number of single cell drainage structures. The total length of the designed road is about 90 km. At this stage only the first 30 km have been constructed.

    1) Detailed Topographic Survey
    2) Traffic Study
    3) Perform a hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
    4) Study alternative alignment in the hilly area through aerial photographs and mapping
    5) Prepare preliminary design and tender documents
    6) Coordination with concerned authorities to obtain their approval of the design
    7) Prepare the final design and tender doucments
    8) Construction supervision
