  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The classification of the raod is ?Local Road? connecting the village of Bilad Al Shahum to that of Al Hajar. The purpose of the road is to serve the various settlements along the alignment who are currently using the existing unpaved track along which, in several occasion during the rainy season, traffic is disrupted because of the mud and the high water level at the many wadi crossings. The road runs through rolling/mountainous terrain and consists of a two lane carriageway; it also includes several single to multicell drainage structures. The total length of the road is about 24 km.

    3) Hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
    4) Study alternative alignment in the hilly area through aerial photographs and mapping
