    Renardet S.A. & Partners have been commissioned by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to prepare a comprehensive Transport Study ?Facilitating Traffic Flow? on the Mina Al Fahal (MAF) area. This Study has been prepared with the objective to help optimize the existing highway network within MAF, minimizing any new infrastructure improvements in order to accommodate the traffic growth expected in the following years due to the increase in the number of employees (and hence traffic volumes) working in Mina Al Fahal.

    1) Review of existing traffic studies
    2) Traffic surveys to assess base-line traffic conditions
    3) TIA Review Process
    4) Review the operational aspects of traffic movement at the entry gates.
    5) Assess effect of change in existing traffic assignment from existing PDO HQ location to new location of PDO HQ
    6) Assess effect of increase in population of New HQ compared to existing HQ
    7) Assess future traffic scenario based upon the above influences.
    8) Analysis of Development traffic and impact upon existing road network
    9) Concept design of accessibility scheme incorporating traffic impact mitigation measure
    10) Preparation of report and drawings to present outcome of the study and concept design for review by Client
