Narrative Description of the Project:

The scope of works comprises the design of Muqniyat and Miskin paved link roads in the wilayat of Ibri which includes Muqniyat, Kahnat and Miskin villages. The length of the link roads are about 35 km . Many wadi?s are crossing along the alignment. Roads located near wadi areas should be constructed on the higher ground level outside the wadi as far as possible and will meet all the engineering requirements mentioned in the Highway Design Manual and the General Specification for roads. Since the road passing through old and new housing plots, the designer should respect all the existing levels and utilities.

Description:

1) Detailed Topographic Survey
2) Comprehensive Traffic Study and Environmental study
3) Review the Master Plan of the area and other relevant studies
4) Perform a hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
5) Study alternative alignment in the hilly areas through aerial photographs and mapping
6) Design all necessary structures and other elements
7) Prepare design report, preliminary / detailed design, Engineers cost estimate and tender documents
8) Coordination with concerned authorities to obtain their approval on the design
