    The existing road is crossing the wadi by means of a floodway about 20m long. The wadi banks have been lined with grouted riprap for about 450m and the wadi bed will be trained to improve the flood conveyance. The Scope of Works includes the hydrologic study of upstream catchment area and the hydraulic calculations for the box culvert (all-weather) and vented floodway (fair-weather) options to convey the 1 in 25 years flood downstream the project location.
