  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The project entails a hydrologic study of a portion of the Batinah Coast surrounding wadi Al Ais and others in order to design flood protection measures for the dowsrtream urban centres, including dams to secure the areas against flooding

     

  • Description:

    1) Renardet provided technical support to Fichtner for the design of several large flood protection dams along the Northern Batinah coast
    2) The works comprised drafting technical specifications and tender documents letting and supervising the geotechnical investigation programme as well as drafting the interpretive reports
    3) Further assistance included topographic survey of extremely large portions of the coast to assist with wadi training downstream of the proposed dams
