The main scope of work includes elements for design and construction as well as elements for design only, as described below: DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION 1.Al Mubaila Interchange 2.Graveyard(Dumping Yard)Interchange 3. Dualization of Link Road from Al Mubaila Interchange to Al Salam Street 4. Flood way across Wadi Al Khoud including approach road sections DESIGN ONLY 1. Dualization of Link Road (Halban Street) from Interchange No 12 of the Muscat Expressway 2.Additional Internal Road corridor in Al Mubaila. 3.Dual Carriageway extension of Link Road to the north from Graveyard (Dumping Yard) Interchange. 4. Link Road to the south from Al Mubaila Interchange

Design Review and Construction Supervision which include the following:
1) Assist the Employer in Contract Administration and in Contract Management
2) Provide guidance and direction to the Contractor
3) Furnish all necessary ground and topographic data, including setting out of control points
4) Issue the interim payment certificate based on the progress at site and according to the conditions of the contract
5) Review and recommend for approval revision (if any) of Contractor's work schedule
6) Establish standardized Quantity and Quality control programs (Quality Plan)
7) Establish Safety plan
8) Review and approve Contractor's working drawings and temporary works proposals
9) Provide supervision of works to ensure Contractor's compliance with the specs and contractual obligations
10) Notify the Employer about Contractor's claims and provide the Client with the evaluation
11) Prepare variation orders, evaluate request of time extension
12) Keep the Client informed about progress and problems or potential problems
13) Coordination with Local Authorities and Third Parties involved in the works
