  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The project is located at Salalah in Dhofar region and about 1200 km away from Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The main objective of this project is to carry out the Corridor and Alignment study for a number of road sections in the wilayat Thumrait and Muqshin at Salalah. The road sections that is intended to be studied under this Consultancy consist of the following roads: ????????? Dawakah / Marmul Road (140 km) ????????? Amal /Muqshin Road (180 km) ????????? Qatbeet / Al Mashash Road (152 km)

    1) Review of available studies and maps
    2) Coordination with different authorities
    3) Identify all possible corridors of the proposed roads based on available maps and satellite images.
    4) Carrying out conceptual design of tentative alignment
    5) Preparation of Preliminary Corridor and Alignment study Report
    6) Preparation of Final Corridor and Alignment study Report
    7) Construction Cost Estimate
